BWFC have been working with BID Services, a charity who work in partnership with people with a sensory impairment, as well as those with a physical disability or mental health, to promote walking football. The WFA England ladies teams got together at Solihull Football Centre yesterday to start their training together with over 50's newly appointed Manager Karen Sharman, and Over 40's temporary Manager Stuart Langworthy. The ladies took part in warm up drills and tactics before playing each other in a series of ten minute matches. The players gelled well together and it gave the managers a chance to think about individuals positions in readiness for future games.
