ENGLANDS FULL HOUSE IN GUERNSEY

Last weekend saw The Walking Football Association fly 5 England teams over to Guernsey to play in what would be for some their first International game. The Guernsey hosts treated the teams to a wonderful weekend of football and hospitality and made the matches accessible to the world by filming a live stream of the games. Scores were as follows -

ENG MENS +65's V GUERNSEY +60's 4-1

ENG MENS +50's V GUERNSEY MENS UNDER 50's 4-1

ENG LADIES +40's V GUERNSEY MENS 1-0

ENG LADIES +50's V GUERNSEY LADIES 2-0

ENG LADIES +60's V GUERNSEY LADIES 2-1

After the games the management teams from both sides played in an exhibition match where England took the win again topping off the visit with 2-0 score line.

The weekend was topped off by a celebratory party where money was raised after a signed England shirt was auctioned with the proceeds going to Bowel Cancer.
