INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

England 50's, 60's and 70's headed off to Spain last weekend to play in a tournament against Italy, France and The Basque Country. The international games saw both England 50's and 60's teams win their games on the first day of the tournament - 50's 4 v 0 France, 60's 7 v 1 France. In second days games first played second and third played fourth in the table leaving both England age groups to play The Basque Country. The England 50's team lost out in the final to the hosts 2-1 after a 1- 0 lead, and the 60's win 5-0. Italy and France in both age groups came third and fourth respectively. The Basque Country were superb hosts as ever, and it was a fantastic opportunity to meet the Italian's again & the French for the first time in international walking football history.
