After winning the inaugural Women’s Walking Football National Peoples Cup last month BWFC Blues set off to Wembley to collect their trophy. The teams prize was tickets to the FA cup final Manchester City v Watford where at half time the team captain Caroline Reid, who has played with Birmingham since inception would be invited onto the pitch in front of 85,800 supporters for the presentation.

The girls had the most amazing time and were interviewed briefly by the BBC prior to the game. Birmingham would like to thank the @FA and @bbcgetinspired for the wonderful opportunity and look forward to defending the title next year!
