St George’s Park was the destination for our Parkinson's Team yesterday for the 3rd Cure Parkinson’s Cup run jointly by The Walking Football Association and Sport Parkinson's. 20 teams took part this year with over 200 players of all abilities and ages including the Parkinson’s Pioneers Women’s team. The team were unlucky to lose in 1/4 final with a goal from the opposition coming just 5 seconds from time! Overall a great show, but unfortunately our players medications were wearing off after a long day but everyone enjoyed it.
